Budgetwise Terms of Use

By installing or using Budgetwise (package com.salazardevs.budgetwise, "the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app. Budgetwise is a mobile app for Android that helps you record expenses and income, organize them by category and account, and track budgets. Budgetwise is a personal money-tracking tool, not a bank, financial institution, or provider of financial, investment, or tax advice.
2. Subscriptions — Premium tier
Budgetwise Premium unlocks the following features:
- Unlimited transactions
- Statistics, charts, and spending breakdowns
- Budgets for every category
- An ad-free experience
3. Pricing and billing
- Monthly plan: billed every 30 days. No free trial.
- Annual plan: billed every 365 days. Includes a 7-day free trial for new customers only.
Prices may vary by country based on local currency, tax, and Google Play pricing rules. The actual price shown to you at checkout is the price that applies.
4. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Budgetwise. If you cancel, you keep Premium access until the end of the paid period. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
5. Your data and privacy
Your use of Budgetwise is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.salazarsdevs.com/apps/budgetwise/privacy. Your financial data is stored under an anonymous account and synced via our service providers (Supabase, RevenueCat, Google Play Billing) as described there.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use Budgetwise only for lawful, personal money-tracking purposes and not to misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the app or its backend services.
7. No financial advice; disclaimer
Budgetwise records data you enter and presents summaries based on it. It does not provide financial, investment, accounting, or tax advice, and figures shown are only as accurate as the data you enter. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decisions made based on the app or for any loss of data.
8. Termination
You can stop using Budgetwise at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access in case of abuse, illegal use, or violation of these Terms.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the app or the Google Play listing. Your continued use of Budgetwise after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
